Laser products are warranted to conform to ERDI’ s published specifications and to be free from defects in materials and workman-ship for a period of twelve months starting on the shipping date. ERDI will repair or replace (at our decision) ASAP without charge, any part(s) found to be defective during the warranty period.

Our warranties do not cover damages due to misuse, negligence or accidents or due to installations, repairs or adjustments not authorized by ERD.

If a problem occurs and can’t be solved by phone, fax, or email, you may return products to ERDI. Please contact us for a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number prior to shipping the laser. We’ll provide you details on shipping and customs information with the RMA number. All lasers and components should be carefully packed to avoid damage during shipment.

The 1064nm Laser Target Designator is applied in airborne or vehicle-mounted optoelectronic pods for functions such as target indication, laser suppression, laser interference, and laser deception. It is utilized for target distance measurement and target indication, and is suitable for individual reconnaissance and indication of targets like people and vehicles, as well as for guiding guided weapons and conducting target measurement. It is a precise optoelectronic product that calculates distance information by emitting laser at specific targets and based on the laser's flight time. This Laser Target Designator achieves communication through the RS422 communication interface, and it features outstanding performance and simple operation. The laser band of this designator is 1064nm.
The main components of the Laser Target Designator product are as follows:
  1. Receiving and transmitting assembly;
  2. Power circuit components;
  3. Control and drive circuit assembly;
  4. Pressure-regulating Q-switching drive circuit assembly;
  5. Laser ranging circuit assembly;
  6. Detector high-voltage drive circuit assembly;
  7. Temperature acquisition and control circuit assembly.
Laser Target Designator-Laser Design
  1. The beam quality factor M2 is less than 5;
  2. It adopts a high-gain athermal slab prism U-shaped cavity design;
  3. It uses grating wavelength locking technology (currently without temperature control technology);
  4. It has a low-temperature variable metal bracket design.
The laser output is linearly polarized light that can enter the polarization device at an angle of 0 degrees. The phase is adjusted through the wave plate, then it enters the optical lens and is emitted to illuminate the target. The laser echo reflected by the target is received by the optical lens. The phase is adjusted again through the wave plate, and then it is incident on the polarization device and reflected at an angle of 90 degrees towards the echo receiving device, thus realizing the optical design of the integrated transceiver.
